Universal Absorbent Main

Chemical Absorbent

The SpilMax range of absorbents have undergone extensive testing to ensure their absorbency and performance, even when under extreme industrial use.

All SpilMax Chemical Absorbents meet requirements in accordance with ASTM Test Method F726-06 “Sorbent Performance of Absorbents” to test maximum oil capacity.

SpilMax® UniChem Absorbent Mini Booms are the most versatile absorbent option. They are ideal in any general purpose or chemical spill kit. The UniChem absorbents will pick up water, oils, fuels, diesel, coolant, general workplace chemicals and common agricultural chemicals as well as hazardous chemical spills of strong oxidisers, acids, alkalis and caustics.

SpilMax® Absorbent Mini Booms are made of polypropylene and available in a variety of sizes with absorbencies ranging from 4L to 10L per saturation.

Mini booms are typically used to circle or bund leaking drums and machinery or placed between a spill and a stormwater drain.

SpilMax® Heavy Duty 400gsm UniChem Absorbent Pads are the most versatile absorbent option. They are ideal in any general purpose or chemical spill kit. UniChem pads will absorb water, oils, fuels, diesel, coolant, general workplace chemicals and common agricultural chemicals as well as hazardous chemical spills of strong oxidisers, acids, alkalis and caustics.

Single pads can be used to capture small leaks, clean up small spills and wipe down tools, equipment or drum tops. Rolls are perforated pads that will tear off in custom sized sheets. These are ideal for use under vehicles and

equipment during maintenance or refueling and to create set down areas for containers or leaking equipment. Made of melt blown polypropylene with dimples and scrim for greater durability. Each pad absorbs 1L per saturation. Pads can be wrung out and reused many times during spill clean up.

SpilMax® absorbent pillows are made of polypropylene. Each pillow can absorb up to 4L per saturation. They are typically used to catch drips under leaking equipment or machinery. They can also be stuffed into an area where liquids are flowing as a temporary measure until the flow is stopped.
