Description

SpilMax Absorbent Bilge Booms will absorb a wide variety of oils and fuels, plant and seed oils, hydrocarbons, petrochemicals and petroleum-based solvents.

These small absorbent booms are hydrophobic. They repel water and float, therefore enabling the absorption of oil and fuel-based products around water, without absorbing the water itself. They are intended to contain and absorb spills in boat bilges or drain protection products. Even when fully saturated, these durable absorbent booms will float on water. Place bilge booms in an enclosed area where contaminated water will swirl or surround the boom so it can attract and trap the contaminants.
